Professionals listening sessions are now full. We invite you to check back in the future for other ways to become involved in the Center’s work.
Why Should I Join a Listening Session?
Professionals like you are an important participant group due to your specialized knowledge of how families connect and are referred to the child welfare system and local helplines. We want to learn from you to better shape policies and solutions for supporting children and families.
For the purposes of these listening sessions, “helplines” typically include call centers offering services, connections to resources, or emotional support to families. These services may include home visits, other kinds of outreach, and prevention supports as an alternative to unnecessary involvement with the child protective services (CPS) system.
What If I Need to Cancel or Reschedule?
You may reschedule your listening session via the confirmation email you received when you signed up. If you are having trouble rescheduling, please email the Center at QICStaff@HelplinesAndHotlines.org.
Are You Doing Other Research Activities?
Yes. The Center has already conducted a literature review, a policy review, and a series of national surveys. We will publish findings on the Center’s website. In the future, we will conduct site visits to better understand how hotlines and helplines can work together. If you are interested in learning more, please sign up for our mailing list.
What If I Have Other Questions?
Please email the Center at QICStaff@HelplinesAndHotlines.org. We look forward to learning from you. Thank you!
