Charlyn Harper Browne, PhD

Dr. Charlyn Harper Browne is a former senior fellow at the Center for the Study of Social Policy, where for 16 years she was responsible for contributing to the research, theoretical, and training components of projects related to young children, youth, parents, and families. Dr. Browne has expertise in child and adolescent development, resource development, and project management. Previously, she served as a college and university administrator and professor in departments of psychology and counseling. Her educational background includes extensive post-doctoral coursework in clinical child and family psychology after earning a doctoral degree in early childhood education. Dr. Browne’s publications focus on promoting the healthy development and well-being of young children, youth, parents, and families.
