Role Program Specialist
Organization Evident Change

NaKisha “Kisha” Freeman joined Evident Change in 2019 after serving for 14 years as a social worker in both the public and private sectors. Kisha’s extensive child welfare experience includes prevention and permanency support, working with youth and families through adoptions, kinship family support, and reunification (pre- and post-termination) programs.

Kisha has been trained in multiple best-practice approaches to child welfare and has considerable skills in team facilitation, training, and coaching. She has led several quality improvement activities and has partnered in community efforts to improve overall best practices and fairness in child welfare systems.

Kisha is driven by the opportunities to combine her career experiences with her life experiences, using her commitment to improved outcomes for all to help support the individuals, groups, and organizations she works with. Recognizing that self- and organizational reflection is a journey and not a destination, Kisha shares her own experiences while fostering conversations that uplift people’s ability to interrogate and expand their current analysis of the spaces and work they navigate daily.
